We have been around for 24 years and have a solid and good reputation for our work ethic and integrity. We are not going to be the cheapest around as we like to charge a fare rate for our service which brings results. A lot of work is involved in selling a home, and hence with our MD'S can do attitude and office location, we have built on our reputation for being fare with our fees. We were awarded by the Guild of Professional Estate Agents, runner up for the North of England in 2005 to 2006, for our recognised service levels and standards.
Due to rafts of changing legislation in the Lettings Sector from Government and busy bodies in the Public Sector, who think they have knowledge of how a letting agent works, particularly with reference to forcing all agents from June 2019, to stop charging fees for tenants as a contingency, should they default with their rent payment, and all the paper work that is required to now comply with letting a home. I took the decision to smell the coffee and roses, and sell on the lettings side of my business that was left, to another agent at the end of 2017. I can assure you, I am one of hundreds who are also now taking this route, as it becomes untenable to be a letting agent, unless you are part of a large group who can afford to employ a compliance person, just to check if all the correct paper work has been handed out to all parties. This has of course now freed up a lot of my time, to devote all my energies to being fully hands on in my business, helping to secure a sale of your property. After a year that all of us would not wish to experience ever again in 2020, I have taken stock of life like a lot of people, and changed the way in which my business provides a service. I have been working on my own from May last year ably assisted once we were initially unlocked with family help, providing a hands on service to my clients. This has the benefit for my clients, of dealing with myself from the commencement of marketing to the point of the sale and completion, unlike lots of other estate agents where you are passed onto a member of staff who may not know your case, or even worse they are in a comfort zone and can't be bothered. It is therefore no coincidence that last year, I managed to get over the line some very trying cases, which in the climate of a manic sales market in 2020, proved to be a very busy period. It was rewarded by many thank you's and kind words from satisfied sellers and buyers, plus gifts of gratuities.
I would like to think that I am very approachable and professional, and as a result of my new working routine, all company emails are attended to 7 days of the week from the office and my home environment, thus providing a hands on service.

We predict that 2021 will be the year the straw broke the camels back of RM. Vendors and buyers you do not need RM to search for a property, just use other portals like Zoopla, Boomin and social media which are slicker and more user friendly. The overall message I am conveying here, is that I am here to help with your needs and problems should you have one, whilst we are trying to secure a sale. Very much hands on as a working MD, an unusual occurrence these days, which I am proud of in my office to offer a great personal service.
I took the view some time ago to not seek gratitude by way of reviews on sites, a good old thank you by way of letters and goodies are much more personal. I get on with my business without blowing my trumpet in the social media world, but I make sure all our properties are displayed on Facebook by means of a video of your home.
To sum up, good old fashioned service without a fuss, done by a person with 47 years working and life's experiences. If you want to do business with the other local agents who constantly try poach my clients trying to pinch my business and livelihood, which in my opinion is a disgrace to the profession and smacks of desperation, then jog on.
